The department takes care of all aspects of Plastic Surgery including Congenital anomalies, Trauma reconstruction including maxillofacial trauma, post malignancy reconstruction and cosmetic Surgery. Over the years the department has been known for reconstruction of complex defects by microvascular surgery. Speciality is cosmetic surgery, reconstructive surgery and OculoPlastic surgery. The department also has a post M.Ch clinical fellowship for a period of 1 year and till date 5 fellows have got advanced Plastic Surgical training. The total number of surgeries performed is about 300 per year.
