The day care centre at our hospital provides excellent service to patients who do not require staying in the hospital overnight. It avoids unnecessary hospitalization and also helps in ensuring adequate number of beds for patients requiring hospitalization. The department is manned by a team of highly skilled and experienced nurses.
The day-care on the ground floor is just adjacent to the peri-operative suites manned with qualified nurses to cater to every medical need of a patient. All minor, intermediate, major procedures such as Cardiac Catheterization, Cataract with IOL, Lithotripsy can be performed here.
The day-care on the 8th floor is equipped to handle and ensure safe and friendly environment for patients receiving chemotherapy and supportive treatments for cancer.
The Day care centre at Lilavati Hospital is located on the Ground Floor and 8th Floor of the hospital with 6 beds on each floor. The ground floor daycare caters to all medical and surgical procedures whereas; the 8th floor daycare centre is dedicated for medical treatment of cancer. A Laminar airflow hood is available in the centre for preparing the drugs and to ensure sterility of the products used in treatment of cancer.
