Dr. Tejas Gohel joined Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre as a Consultant Microbiologist and Nodal Officer for Infection Control on April 18, 2022. He brings nine years of experience in Microbiology and Infection Control.

Prior to joining Lilavati, he served as a Consultant Microbiologist and Infection Control Officer at Jaslok Hospital for over four years.

He received specialized training in Infection Control at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, in 2017.

Dr. Gohel served as a member of the Infection Control Committee at Government Medical College, Latur, for a year and a half (2015-2016). At Jaslok Hospital, he coordinated the Infection Control Committee and the COVID Containment Committee and served as Joint Secretary of the Research Committee.
