Dr. D’souza has been a consultant ophthalmologist at Lilavati Hospital since 2000 and has over 25 years of experience in the field of ophthalmology. With a strong track record, he has successfully performed between 5,000 and 10,000 cases. He played a pivotal role as one of the investigators for the US FDA in the development of Multifocal IOL technology, specifically for the ReStor IOL in the Southeast Asia region.
Dr. D’souza has also been a panelist and speaker at various national and international conferences. Additionally, he serves as a scientific advisor to several companies focused on the development of cutting-edge ophthalmology products and technologies.
