 Consultant Surgical Oncologist (Minimally Invasive & Robotic Oncosurgery)

A highly trained and experienced Cancer Surgeon, specializing in Gastrointestinal, Hepatopancreaticobiliary (HPB), and Thoracic Oncology, along with expertise in Breast, Head & Neck, and Gynecologic Oncology.

After completing his Postgraduate training in General Surgery from the University of Mumbai, he pursued and successfully completed a residency program in Surgical Oncology followed by specialized training as a Specialist Registrar in Thoracic Oncology and Breast Oncology at the prestigious Tata Memorial Cancer & Research Centre, Mumbai.

Furthering his expertise, he underwent a one-year fellowship in Thoracic Oncology and Minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgery at the Asian Institute of Oncology, Mumbai. His training in Hepatopancreaticobiliary (HPB) Surgery and Liver Transplantation took him to Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore, where he trained under pioneering Liver Transplant Surgeon Dato-Tan Kai Chah at the Asian Centre for Liver Disease & Transplantation.

Upon returning to India, he successfully completed a super-specialty training course, earning the Diplomate of National Board (D.N.B.) in Surgical Oncology. He is proficient in Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery (V.A.T.S) and Versius Robotic Surgery and has also mentored students pursuing the D.N.B. in Surgical Oncology.

Actively engaged in the National Oncology community, he is associated with several prestigious organizations, including the Indian Society of Oncology (ISO) and the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO). He is also a member of the Editorial Board of B.L.D.E. University Indexed Journal and has authored textbook chapters and numerous national and international publications.

A sought-after faculty member at various national conferences, he has performed over 2000 complex supra-major cancer surgeries, including 700 advanced procedures in Gastrointestinal, Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic, and Thoracic cancers, achieving excellent patient outcomes.
