Initial Oncology training at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.
International Fellow at Cleveland Foundation Clinic (1993, 1998) with Prof. Michael Henderson.
Advanced training in hepatic surgery at Tokyo and Nagoya, Japan, with Prof. Makucchi and Prof. Ken Takasaki.
Attended summer school for neuroendocrine gastrointestinal & hepatological diseases at Charité Campus University, Berlin.
Founder member of the Indian Chapter of IHPBA and part of the organizing committee for the First National Conference in 2001 and the 8th World Congress of IHPBA in 2008.
Life member of India Society of Gastroenterology, Indian Society of Oncology, Indian Association of Study of Liver, and India Association of Surgical Gastroenterology.
