Dr. P. D. Joshi is an eminent Endodontist practicing since 1983 and has been associated with Lilavati Hospital since 2001 as the Head of the Department of Dentistry.

He specializes in performing complex root canal treatments, repeat root canal treatments, and endodontic microsurgery under a microscope. He conducts workshops on endodontics for practicing dental surgeons across the country under the aegis of various dental associations. Dr. Joshi has conducted the highest number of training sessions in India, mentoring private practitioners, dental students, and postgraduate faculties in the field of root canal specialization.

• Consultant Lecturer at Zeiss - MUHS Microdentistry Department, Government Dental College, Mumbai
• Delivered numerous workshops on Microdentistry, particularly for FODI, and was the first to provide live demonstrations on patients at various conferences, including molar endodontics, retrieval of broken instruments, molar apicoectomy, and perforation sealing
