Profile

Dr. Nita S. Nair is a distinguished Breast Surgeon with over 20 years of experience in the field. She completed her MBBS from Grant Medical College and Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai, followed by a DNB in General Surgery from P.D. Hinduja Hospital. She further pursued her MRCS from the Royal College of Edinburgh, UK, and a Fellowship in Breast Surgery. Her specialization in Surgical Oncology was honed with an MCh from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, where she served as a Senior Consultant, Professor, and Convenor of the Disease Management Group until 2023.
Dr. Nair is actively involved in professional associations, serving as an Executive Committee Member of the Association of Breast Surgeons of India and Secretary of the Comprehensive Breast Collaborative Society. She has led numerous research projects, contributed to the NCG guidelines for breast cancer management in India, and has over 100 peer-reviewed publications. A sought-after speaker, she has delivered over 200 lectures globally. Additionally, she is a faculty member for the Oncoplasty Training Course at the University of East Anglia, UK.
