Profile

Dr. Mehul Choksi is a reputed Consultant Gastroenterologist based in Mumbai, with over a decade of experience in digestive diseases and advanced therapeutic endoscopy. After completing his MBBS from Mumbai University, Dr. Choksi pursued residency training in General Medicine at St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore. He then completed his residency in Gastroenterology at Christian Medical College, Vellore, one of India's top medical institutes.

Following his DM in Gastroenterology, Dr. Choksi trained in Gastrointestinal Oncology and Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. He also held a teaching position there. He was awarded the Peter Cotton Travel Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, USA, where he trained in the latest therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy procedures. Additionally, Dr. Choksi trained at the Center for Interventional Endoscopy, Florida Hospital, Orlando, USA, specializing in Endoscopic Ultrasound techniques.

Dr. Choksi has extensive experience in diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and enteroscopy. He is also skilled in palliative stenting for advanced gastrointestinal malignancies and is an expert in treating both benign and malignant gastrointestinal disorders.
