• Introduced Immunofluorescence testing for kidney and skin biopsies.
• Implemented Endoscopic biopsy-Frozen section reporting for rapid diagnosis in cancer patients, facilitating timely management decisions.
• Pioneered the use of Colored Surgical Paints for accurate surgical margin interpretation of oncology specimens, a method subsequently adopted nationwide. This innovation was recognized with a Best Paper prize at the International IHPBA Conference, New Delhi (2010), and has been presented at numerous national and international conferences and published in medical journals. This technique is now utilized in various leading medical institutions across India.
• Introduced Intra-operative PTH assay during parathyroid surgery to minimize surgical exploration and enhance operative efficacy and cosmetic outcomes.
• Established the Acetylcholine esterase test for Hirschsprung's disease, currently offered exclusively in Mumbai at this center.
• Presented research papers at world and Asia-Pacific conferences and served as invited faculty at SAARC conferences, other international meetings, and national conferences.
