Dr. Vajifdar has been associated with Lilavati Hospital for 10 years.In a career spanning 26 years, Dr Vajifdar has performed more than 15,000 angiographies and more than 5,000 angioplasties and stenting.He is an excellent Clinical and Interventional Cardiologist.

He received his medical training (MBBS, MD, DNB) from the prestigious ‘Seth G S Medical College & K.E.M. Hospital’ at Mumbai.He did his Fellowship in “Trans-Radial Approach to Coronary Interventions” under the guidance of Dr Ferdinand Kiemeneij – the founder of Trans-Radial procedures. He worked as an Interventional Cardiologist at the ‘Amsterdam Department of Interventional Cardiology, The Netherlands’ in the year 2000.

Dr Vajifdar is one of the first cardiologist to perform ‘Trans-Radial Coronary Angioplasty’ in India.
