Currently serves as Professor Emeritus at D.Y. Patil Hospital & Research Centre, Navi Mumbai.
Former Head of Department of ENT and Department of Audiology & Speech Therapy at T.N. Medical College and B.Y.L. Nair Hospital.
Received Honorary Membership from the German ENT Association—the only Indian member and one of approximately 80 Honorary Members worldwide in the association's 85-year history.
Member of the Spanish-German Society.
Invited as a Specialty Instructor by the Oman Medical Board to conduct postgraduate teaching programs.
Developed an Ossicular Reconstruction Prosthesis.
Co-developed the world’s first middle ear titanium implant in collaboration with German company KURZ, used in a patient for the first time. Titanium is now the most popular material for middle ear reconstruction.
Developed an exclusive Middle Ear Implant in 2010, patented and marketed in Europe.
Conducted surgical workshops in collaboration with universities in Wurzburg, Bochum, and Tubingen (Germany) in India. Annual workshops are also conducted at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, with the most recent in 2015.
Received the Appreciation Award for Developing & Contributing Academic Content between India and Western Europe, June 2011, at the European Academy in Barcelona.
Invited as faculty for surgical demonstrations and instructional courses in numerous countries, including Turkey, Spain, France, Chile, China, Russia, Slovakia, Oman, Dubai, Bangladesh, and others.
