Dr. Agnivesh Tikoo is a renowned Minimal Invasive Spine Surgeon with over 12 years of experience in the field of Spine Surgery.
He has received specialized training at some of the best spine centers in India and abroad. Dr. Tikoo completed his AOSpine National Fellowship in Kolkata and his FNB in Spine Surgery in Mumbai. He further honed his skills through the IASA Spine Fellowship at the University Hospital of Wales and Llandough in Cardiff, UK. Additionally, he mastered Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery techniques at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital in London, UK, and acquired expertise in Paediatric Spine Deformity Surgery during his AOSpine International Fellowship at Evelina Children’s Hospital in London.
Having successfully performed over 800 spine surgeries, including complex deformity and revision cases, Dr. Tikoo is committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for his patients.
Dr. Tikoo has authored 20 publications and presented his work at several prestigious national and international conferences. He has received numerous accolades, including the Best Paper Award at WBISSPCON and the K.S. Grewat Best Paper Award.
Additionally, Dr. Tikoo has contributed chapters to several orthopedic and spine textbooks and continues to integrate the latest technologies and techniques into his practice. His expertise in neuronavigation, minimal invasive spine surgery, neuromonitoring, and spine robotics ensures that he provides top-tier care to his patients, achieving outcomes on par with leading international centers.
Dr. Tikoo is an active faculty member at regional and national conferences and holds leadership roles as an executive member of the Bombay Spine Society. He is also a member of the editorial board of Physis and serves as a reviewer for the Indian Spine Journal. His past roles also include being the webmaster for the Bombay Orthopaedic Society.
